Who We Are

Welcome to New Covenant Worship Center!

We’re so glad you found us! We are a church of fun, radical, passionate, aggressive, lovers of God. Our love for God is demonstrated in our love for people. NCWC is a place where everyone can experience freedom in Jesus Christ.

NCWC Vision/Mission statement:

“We are raising up radical, passionate, aggressive lovers of God and people from the next generation who will love deeply, serve sacrificially, speak truthfully, live holy and go globally in the supernatural power and presence of the Holy Spirit – calling all people to confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.”

The Heart of our Mission:

We love deeply because He loved us first.
We serve to our hurt because we are not our own.
We speak the truth because His words are life.
We live holy because it makes our joy complete.
We go globally because nations are His inheritance.
We live to make Him famous…
…and we long to see Heaven invade the Earth

Our Values

The Empowering Presence of God:  We long to be a people of His presence.  In our gatherings we actively cultivate a welcoming environment for the Holy Spirit to move among and through His people.  Simply put, “without Him we can do nothing.”

Extravagant Worship:  We seek to be whole-hearted worshipers who are in passionate pursuit of God, developing intimacy with Jesus through a lifestyle of worship, prayer, giving, and obeying God’s Word.

Authentic Community:  We desire to recapture “Relational Christianity” by being a community of believers that emphasizes genuine friendships, strong families, ministry through caring relationships, experiencing together what it means to be a “church without walls.”

Relational Evangelism:  We will be compassionate followers of Christ that reveal the Father’s love, acceptance, and forgiveness to the lost, in our cities and the nations of the earth.

Effective Discipleship:  We are called to follow God’s mandate to bring every believer, young and old, into fruitful maturity by applying the truth of God’s Word to our everyday lives, through corporate teachings, small groups, and individual mentoring.

Equipping Ministry:  We endeavor to follow the Biblical pattern of team ministry by discovering, cultivating, and embracing all God’s giftings in each other, becoming a congregation of ministers.

NCWC Statement of Faith

We believe. . .

In the Bible as the inspired Word of God
In the One, Living, and true God as eternally being Father, Son and Holy Spirit
In the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ who, as very God and very man,
yet one Christ, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary,
sinless in nature and life, full of the Holy Spirit without measure,
authoritative in teaching and preaching, mighty and miraculous in ministry,
crucified, dead, and buried, resurrected in power;
and who ascended into heaven, and intercedes before the Father on our behalf
In the forgiveness of sins through the shed blood of Jesus alone
In eternal life and salvation by grace through faith in Christ
In the Deity of the Holy Spirit who indwells and fills us with the presence of God,
anoints us unto fruit and good works,
joins us together with all saints as Christ’s Body, the Church,
equips us with power and spiritual gifts, and leads us in our Christian walk
In the commissioning of the church to carry Christ’s gospel – by Word, deed, and power – to all the world
In the resurrection of the dead and in the glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who shall come to judge the living and the dead.

Sanctity of Human Life

We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life. (Ps 139.)

Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality

We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. (Gen 1:26-27.)

Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.

We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. (Gen 2:18-25.) We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. (1 Cor 6:18; 7:2-5; Heb 13:4.) We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman.

We believe that any form of sexual immorality (including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, and use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God. (Matt 15:18-20; 1 Cor 6:9-10.)

We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. (Acts 3:19-21; Rom 10:9-10; 1 Cor 6:9-11.)

We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31.) Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture nor the doctrines of New Covenant Worship Center.

Final Authority for Matters of Belief & Conduct within New Covenant Worship Center

The statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe. For purposes of New Covenant Worship Center’s faith, doctrine, practice, policy, and discipline, our Governing Elders are New Covenant Worship Center’s final interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application within NCWC.
